You may remember my post on Jaime and Mark’s wedding last week? Their wedding was nothing short of eventful and one that I will remember forever! During the ceremony, you could hear a boat passing, helicopters hovering overhead, and then a familiar sound came over the loudspeaker next door…The Beach Boys were performing a soundcheck for their concert at Jacobs Pavilion. The couple and their guests laughed it off, as hearing “God Only Knows” isn’t the worst background music to say your vows to, right? Kind of perfect :)
Skip to this past Sunday evening – I get an email from Jaime saying they had just been interviewed by Good Morning America and asking if I could send any pictures to their contact at ABC. I hopped to and chose some of my favorite images from the ceremony, images that really showed off the emotions and moments that took place in that half-hour and throughout the day. Watching my images on national television was nothing short of amazing, humbling and made me so proud to do what I do and be able to call my clients “friends” when their wedding day is all said and done.
Aside from being a very cool story that gave me goosebumps (and ended with the bride up on stage with the band), I was so honored to be there and be able to witness it from the other side of the lens!
